Nick and Megan’s Letter

Dear Expectant Family,

Even though we haven’t met yet, you have been on our hearts and minds for quite some time. We want you to know how much we admire your choice of adoption. We pray for you every night. We pray for your health, your safety, and that you are wrapped up in God’s love.

We are so excited to be able to bring a child into our home through adoption. Before we got married, we knew adoption was the only option for us to grow our family. A few years before we met, Megan was diagnosed with cancer-like tumors on her ovaries and eventually had to have a full hysterectomy. Having the chance to be parents will be an answer to our prayers. We are grateful for the opportunity to be considered as parents for your child. Children bring so much light into the world and we want to help those lights shine.

We bought our home together in 2016 and we strive to create a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. We enjoy having people over for bible studies, cookouts, or just spending some quality time together. We have a spoiled rescue dog named Dahlia who loves kids. When we have friends over, she can often be found running around the house with the kids (or begging for treats by their chairs). And she can’t wait to become a big sister! Aside from Dahlia, your child is eagerly awaited by three sets of grandparents, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, our friends and an entire church family.

Nick is a minister for our church family. He’s been there for over 10 years and loves his work and the people he works with. He is currently working on his master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. His work schedule is very flexible which will allow him to be able to be with and care for your child as much as possible. Megan works in corporate training and development. She works Monday through Friday and is blessed to be able to work from home a few times a month. In our free time we enjoy going to cooking classes together, enjoying the outdoors, going to the movies, and having some relaxing time at home.

Any child that comes into our lives will be cherished. That’s who we’ve always been. We want to be the home where everyone calls us mom and dad, even if they are the child of a neighbor up the street. We grew up in homes where everyone was family, everyone came for holidays and celebrated together. That’s who we want to be. Thank you for helping us get one step closer to that dream by considering us as an adoptive family for your child.

Grace, Peace, and Love,
Nick & Megan
