Sherri and her husband Chuck adopted their daughter Caroline at birth in 2001. She describes the experience as life and mission changing. “Adopting Caroline is a gift I will always want to pay forward. We are so grateful to our daughter’s birth mother for giving Caroline life. We know her deepest desire was for Caroline to have both a mother and a father.” Before joining Christian Homes & Family Services in 2005, Sherri owned an Abilene-based PR firm, Statler & Company. Christian Homes was among her firm’s many conservative political and non-profit clients. Sherri is a graduate of Abilene Christian University, having studied in both the College of Business and the Journalism and Mass Communication Department. As President and CEO of Christian Homes, Sherri works with a dedicated board of Trustees and leads a staff of talented, devoted Christians, all of whom are committed to changing lives and building Christian families.
