Joey Roberts joined the staff at Christian Homes & Family Services in February 2024 after serving as the Executive Vice President at Herald of Truth Ministries.

Roberts joined the staff at HTM in 2018 as the Director of Communications after serving six and a half years as the Communications Minister at University Church of Christ in Abilene.

Prior to full-time ministry, Roberts worked in college athletics, serving as the Director of Athletics Communications at Tarleton State University and Southwest Baptist University.

Roberts graduated from Abilene Christian University with a masters in digital media after completing his bachelor’s degree in advertising/public relations with a minor in Bible.

He and his wife, Leslye (an elementary principal in Abilene) have two children, Keaton and Kaylye.
