Carolyn Halliburton

Lead Family Services Caseworker | North Texas Office

Carolyn Halliburton joined the staff of Christian Homes & Family Services in January of 2017 and currently serves as the Lead Family Services Caseworker for maternity and adoption. She graduated from the College of William & Mary and the Duke University School of Law. Carolyn worked as an attorney for a year before she began following her passion and obtained her Masters in Counseling. She has worked as an Adjunct Professor in Psychology at Dallas Baptist University, conducted home studies for families hoping to adopt and counseled adoptive and birth families through her work at local adoption agencies.

Carolyn had a relationship with Christian Homes long before she started working for the agency. She and her husband Brian adopted both of their children, and her son was adopted through Christian Homes. The grace and hope that she and her son’s birth family experienced throughout their adoption journey drew Carolyn to Christian Homes, and she is passionate about working with birth parents and adoptive families.  She is also passionate about training new caseworkers.
