Ric and Alison

Thank you for taking time to read and to prayerfully consider allowing us to adopt your child/children! We are in awe and are humbled by the beauty and power of adoption, as this is how God chooses to grow His family (Galatians 4:5-7; Ephesians 1:4-5; Romans 8:15). Even before God brought us together, He had placed adoption on our hearts, and while we first pursued adoption through the fostering process, we believe God is [currently] calling us to grow our family through Christian Homes & Family Services ministry to both the birth mom(s) and the new born/infant adoption process.

As a family, “We will serve the Lord” is our mantra! Therefore, being connected to the local church is a key rhythm and priority of our family, as well as a heart to use the different gifts God has blessed us with for His glory. We ask God for strength and wisdom to know how best to love and to lead others to Christ, and we desire to be a family who takes delight in honoring each other with our words and deeds. Presently, our family consists of the two of us and our golden retriever, Shadow. While we are both, originally, from the north, we have lived in Texas for the past 10+ years and have chosen to make it our home. Again, we are extremely grateful for your decision to choose life, and we anxiously await the day all of our lives are connected through the gift and power of adoption!

Blessings from the Rad’s! Our names are Ric and Alison Radcliffe, and we are so excited and have been waiting prayerfully for this day after struggling with infertility for the past 10 years. We are both teachers and coaches who love to learn, are competitive, and desire to serve our community for Christ and His Kingdom. We are blessed with an amazing community who have supported us in our journey to grow our family, and we both have amazing parents who have modeled what it looks like to raise children in a Christ-centered home (who are also eager to have more grandchildren). When we are not at school teaching or coaching, one would probably find us on our next adventure – whether that be hiking a National Park, seeking to serve our local community through our church, taking a short-term mission trip to another country, or traveling to visit friends or family who live in another state. Our hope is to one day hear the words, “Well done my good and faithful servant!” from our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ … and it is our hope and prayer we will see our children and our children’s children serving the One True God all the days of our lives &/or until Jesus returns!

Ric and Alison’s Letter

Dear Birth Mom,

Thank you for choosing adoption and for choosing us to be a part of this journey! We understand this is not an easy decision, and we realize that it takes great courage, trust, and faith every single day. Please rest in the fact that your sacrifice is not lost on us; in truth, we are so humbled to join you in this journey of raising this precious child of God.

Ric and I both firmly believe there are no coincidences, but rather divine appointments. Years ago, as young individuals, God placed adoption on both of our hearts, and we truly believe it was our Heavenly Father preparing us for this moment. We also believe that He has prepared you, and the wonderful life growing inside of you, to be connected with us. Thus, we look forward to developing this relationship with the both of you, and we know that God has bigger things in store than we can ever imagine.

As Ephesians 3:20 says, “Now all glory to God, who is able, through His mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.” Again, we hope and pray you know how blessed and honored we are with your decision to pursue adoption, and we are asking God for a peace that surpasses all understanding with this lifechanging decision. We, also, are asking that the precious life within you will grow into a healthy child who will come to know, love, and serve the Lord. Finally, in addition to a relationship this side of heaven, we boldly ask our Heavenly Father to allow us to one day be together in paradise worshiping Him, our great and awesome God, who has intricately intertwined our stories from the beginning of time.

With love and gratitude,
Ric and Alison Radcliffe
