Hi there!! We are Lizzie and Nick and have been together for over half our lives! Married for 8 years and together in total 15 years. We are high school sweet hearts and both played college lacrosse. Adoption has been close to both of our hearts since high school and our hearts both long to welcome a child and their mother / family into our family! We truly can’t imagine the place you are in right now and hold so much respect, empathy and grace for the path you choose. You are deeply loved and we alongside our praying community are praying for you. We love to spend time together as a family doing anything that involves being outside and playing games. We love to serve our community and spend a lot of time hosting friends and family at our house. We have two kids who are over the moon about having another sibling – both of them are requesting two more and we would love that 🙂 Lizzie works part time in mental health as a registered dietitian. Nick works full time in sales and has a lot of flexibility in his role. Lizzie has family in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and has spent a lot of time in Texas over the years. We completely trust Christian Homes, this ministry, this process, and most importantly the Lord. Sending you our love and grace <3
We are so honored you are taking a little time to get to know us! We have a wiener dog (Andi) who runs the minute you open the cheese drawer in the fridge and two cats (Rocky and Mochi). If Andi is not found eating cheese or scraps she can be found burrowing herself under a blanket staying warm. Rocky and Mochi are usually found sleeping or begging for pets. We both grew up in the suburbs of Indianapolis and are surrounded by great community and family. Fun fact – our city has the most roundabouts than any other city in the country! We have always felt called to adoption since we were in high school and it is personal to Nicks side of the family. We really long to form a life long connection with you and are envisioning more seats at our dining room table on holidays and birthdays. We long for you to feel loved, welcomed and cherished. Please know we are praying over you during this difficult time and are sending you some virtual air hugs 🙂
