Jason and Leah

One of the very first conversations we had while dating was about how much we both wanted to have children. At the time, we had no idea what our journey to parenthood would look like. We tried for several years and eventually went through IVF. While that was a difficult and heartbreaking experience, we never lost sight of the desire that God placed in our hearts to be parents. From the very beginning, we knew it didn’t matter whether our child was biologically ours or not. What mattered was the love we were ready to give.
Now, as we prepare to welcome a child into our lives, our hearts are filled with excitement. We can’t wait for family game nights around the table, teaching them how to ride a bike, chasing away monsters under the bed, reading bedtime stories, and saying prayers together. Our family and friends are just as eager as we are to meet this child. While we may have a small immediate family, our chosen extended family is large, loving, and so ready to welcome a little one into our world.
We love to travel and explore new places, from zoos and aquariums in different states to children’s and history museums. We can’t wait to share those adventures with a child. Christmas is especially magical for us from sipping hot chocolate while looking at Christmas lights to our tradition of wearing matching pajamas on Christmas Eve.
Leah is excited to start new traditions, like Friday night movie campouts in the living room and baking cookies together. Jason is looking forward to reading comic books, playing Mario Kart, and dressing up for Halloween as a family.
More than anything, we are committed to providing a loving, supportive, and joy-filled home. Even though we haven’t met yet, please know that we are praying for you every step of the way.

We’re Jason and Leah, and we’re so excited to be on this journey. From the moment we started down this path, we’ve been praying for you, and our incredible support system has been praying for you as well. Becoming parents has always been a dream of ours. Long before we knew adoption would be part of our story, we were praying for the child that God had planned for us. We’ve been married for ten years and live in a wonderful neighborhood in the heart of our town. Every evening, families are out walking their dogs, riding bikes, and enjoying the community. We love spending time together whether it’s watching movies, playing board games or video games, or hosting friends and family throughout the year. Jason is a big movie fan, especially when it comes to Harry Potter, Star Wars, and Marvel movies. Leah has been a lifelong reader and is excited to one day share some of her favorite stories with a child. Traveling is also a big part of our lives, from magical trips to Disney to quick weekend getaways to Branson. But we also appreciate a good lazy day at home, curled up with a book or watching our favorite movies. Leah is a special education teacher with a deep passion for working with children, while Jason is a manager at an exclusive retail store and loves getting to interact with so many people each day. We can’t wait to meet you. We know this is an incredibly brave decision, and we’re praying for you every step of the way.

Jason and Leah’s Letter

Dear Brave and Loving Birth Mom,

Although we haven’t met yet, we already have the deepest respect for you. Your love and strength in choosing adoption are evident, and we want you to know how deeply we admire and appreciate you. We can only imagine the emotions you are feeling, and we want you to know that we see you, we honor you, and we are incredibly grateful for you. We are thankful to be on this journey with you and want you to know that we have been praying for you.

We have been married for ten years, and it has always been our dream to become parents. Our journey to parenthood hasn’t been easy. We tried IVF, and while it was incredibly difficult, we never lost sight of the desire God placed in our hearts. We have always known that love makes a family, not biology. Should you choose us, we promise that your child will grow up knowing their story, a story of love, sacrifice, and the incredible courage of the woman who gave them life.

Jason is an exclusive retail manager who loves all things nerdy from Harry Potter, Star Wars, and Legos.
Leah is a special education teacher who enjoys reading, true crime documentaries, and time with friends. Together, we enjoy hosting game nights and holiday gatherings, traveling to new places, and spending cozy time at home. Leah’s parents live nearby and are excited to help care for the baby when we return to work. Our biological family may be small, but our chosen family is large, loving, and ready to surround this child with joy, support, and endless love.

We promise to be there for every major moment in this child’s life, cheering them on and being their biggest encouragers. We promise to make chicken noodle soup when they’re sick, kiss every scraped knee, and provide comfort through life’s ups and downs. We also promise to teach them responsibility, to guide them in their education, and to help them grow into kind, compassionate, and capable individuals. We’ll be there to steady the bike as they learn to ride and celebrate when they finally take off on their own. More than anything, we want to provide a home filled with love, laughter, and support.

We want you to know that we are open to whatever level of contact you feel comfortable with. Whether it’s updates through email, Google Meet check-ins, or letters and pictures, we are happy to keep that connection open. If possible, we would love to meet in person at least once a year. Please know that your child will always know how selfless, brave, and loving you are.

Thank you for considering us. No matter what you decide, we believe you are an incredible mother making a loving choice for your child. We are praying for you and trust that you will make the best decision for you and your baby.

With love and gratitude,
Jason and Leah
