Chrystian and Lea

Hi there! We’re Chrystian and Lea. Together, we’re happiest just being with one another, whether that’s cooking dinner, playing board games, watching a movie, or working around our home with our two beagles, Brax and Scout, and our six chickens. Chrystian enjoys hunting, fishing, and diving into the Word of God. Lea loves baking sourdough and other treats, watching Gilmore Girls, thrifting, and hosting friends and family. We have been married for 9 wonderful years. From the beginning of our marriage, adoption was always on our hearts. We always talked about adoption, but never realized it would one day become the way we would build our family. We pray daily for the incredible woman who will choose life and adoption. Her strength, courage, and love mean more to us than words can express. We are praying for you each and everyday.

Since 2017, we have walked through the difficult road of infertility. While IVF was an option presented to us, after much prayer, we never felt led to pursue it. Instead, we’ve continued to wait on God and trust His timing. Adoption has been a part of our hearts and through much prayer we know this is the path God has called us to walk. We’ve served in ministry most of our marriage – previously as Youth Pastors and now as ushers and prayer partners at our church, where we stay active in small groups and weekly services. To the incredible mother reading this, we want you to know we have been praying for you every day. You are seen, you are valued, and we are humbled and grateful for the possibility of walking this journey with you. Isaiah 4:10 “So do not fear, for I am with you.. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Our prayer to you.

Chrystian and Lea’s Letter

Dear Expectant Mother,

Thank you for considering our family for your baby. We want you to know how brave, strong, and loving you are. You are making one of the hardest decisions on this side of heaven, and we deeply respect and honor you as you consider adoption for your precious child. We can only imagine the whirlwind of emotions you may be carrying, often all at once. What you are doing through adoption is a profound act of selfless love. It is courageous, compassionate, and not something to ever feel shame over. You are making decisions from a place of pure love for your baby, and that is something we admire more than words can express.

We are Chrystian and Lea, and we’ve been married for nine wonderful years. We met in high school at a student-led Bible study, and from that moment on, our lives have been woven together. We truly are each other’s best friend. We love spending time together; whether that’s cooking a big meal for our family, taking care of our two beagles, or snuggling up on the couch with popcorn to watch a movie. Chrystian enjoys hunting, yard work, and grilling for family and friends. Lea enjoys baking sourdough, watching Gilmore Girls, and gathering family or friends around for a fun and sometimes competitive board game. Together, we serve as prayer partners at our church, something we cherish because it lets us pour love, faith, and encouragement into others.

We have walked the road of infertility, and although IVF was presented to us, we never felt led to pursue it. Instead, we waited on God’s timing, trusting that He would lead us exactly where we were meant to be and that led us here, to adoption. Adoption has been a part of our story long before this moment. Chrystian’s dad was adopted, Lea has cousins who were adopted through foster care, and Chrystian’s aunt works for an adoption agency. Adoption has touched our lives in so many meaningful ways, and we have always felt it would one day be part of how we grew our family.

Our journey through infertility has had its difficult moments, but through it all we never questioned God’s faithfulness. Even when we didn’t understand, we trusted that He was guiding us to something purposeful. Today, we see that purpose clearly. We feel so ready, excited, and honored to grow our family through adoption.
