Brandon and Cynthia

Howdy from Brandon and Cynthia! First of all, we’d like to say thank you for exploring and considering this option to protect a precious new life. We know it will not be an easy decision and will require a ton of courage, and we would be grateful to walk through it alongside you.

We got married in May, 2021 and moved to Richardson, Texas where we found a strong community of neighbors and excellent schools down the street that we can’t wait to get involved in! Brandon is a police sergeant in Dallas and Cynthia is a petroleum analyst (aka Excel expert). We love being with friends, hosting, exploring & hiking, and hanging out with our two cats. Brandon especially loves board games with friends, and Cynthia has a knack for photography and staying extremely well organized. We both love to be silly and are looking forward to starting our family, but have been struggling with infertility. Thank you again for considering adoption – we will be praying for you! Let us encourage you with 2 Timothy 1:7 – “for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.”

We are excited to meet you! We can’t wait to use the comfortable home and financial stability we’ve been blessed with for God’s glory, and to raise children to know His love, friendship, strong values, and of course how to be silly. Though we have struggled with infertility, we are excited to open the door to adoption and hope to someday enjoy a lively household of multiple children playing. We value family time and are budgeting with a desire to let Cynthia stay home with children. Their grandparents live down the street and will be sharing lots of love as well!

Happy couple hugs in a sunlit park, smiling at the camera with green trees in the background.

Brandon and Cynthia's Letter

Dear Birth Mother,

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to share a little of our story with you! More than anything we want you to know that as you read this, our prayers are with you. Only the Lord knows the weight of the decisions you’re facing, but we want to acknowledge and honor the care, courage, and love you have already shown in considering your baby’s future.

Howdy, from Brandon and Cynthia! We met at a church event in 2019, and we later married in 2021. We’ve both been looking forward to starting a family, but for the last four years we’ve walked through the challenges of unexplained infertility. The monthly rollercoaster of hope followed by the disappointment of negative pregnancy tests has been very difficult, but through it all, God has gently opened our eyes to the truth that His plans are greater and just plain better than our own. We now believe that the opportunity to adopt is the gift God had for us all along.

Through this journey, God has strengthened our marriage and deepened our faith. By leaning daily on His Word, following the guidance of the Holy Spirit, serving others, and staying connected to our church community, we have grown closer together. We’ve learned the value of quick forgiveness, honoring one another, and using our unique strengths to make the best team. Brandon is the patient & calm peacemaker, and Cynthia is the warm & organized helper. Together we share a lighthearted, playful spirit and find joy in everyday life.

Brandon serves as a police sergeant and Cynthia works as a petroleum analyst. We both have evenings and weekends free and highly value spending that time together or with friends & family. We enjoy hosting game nights and serving popcorn from our full-size popcorn machine. Cynthia brings a love for traveling, gardening, photography, and planning big birthday celebrations. Brandon shares his love for hiking adventures and all kinds of nerdy board games. As a couple, our combined interests have taken us on amazing adventures around the United States and around the world and brought lots of great competition at the game table, even though Cynthia usually wins! We share our home with two beloved cats, Milo and Ceta. We also have a few outdoor “pets,” a squirrel and a turtle, who visit Cynthia while she gardens.

We are active members of a church in Dallas where we serve every week. We are blessed with a close-knit group of three other married couples who encourage us to live authentically, remain sensitive to the Holy Spirit, and challenge us to grow in our faith. These friendships keep us grounded and are a source of support, laughter, and precious memories.

We are excited to fill our home with love, laughter, safety, and opportunities for growth. Cynthia hopes to step away from her career and stay home full-time to care for our child, supported by family & friends. We want to give a child a life filled with wonder, a home where it’s safe to be silly, and the assurance that they are loved – not only by us, but by their Heavenly Father as well. Our family, including grandparents who live just down the street, are so excited to welcome your child into a community of unconditional love, support, and fun times!

We are honored to be able to encourage you in this process should you choose to share your story with us. As your adoptive parents, we will feel a strong commitment to our child and to you, the birth mother, since it would be you choosing us. We hope to maintain open communication with you, as it is important to us that your baby knows his or her story and roots, but we understand if that is not what you would choose and would respect that. We are open to your thoughts and excited to hear more about you. Please let us answer any questions!

With blessings and love,
Brandon & Cynthia
