Grant and Elizabeth

Hello! We are Grant and Elizabeth Loupe. We have been married for eight years and are so excited to grow our family through adoption. We both grew up in Louisiana and started dating in high school, so we have spent many years building a life together. Today we live in Bullard, Texas with our two pups, Ollie and Ellie, and we love calling East Texas home. Grant is a physical therapist and enjoys playing pickleball, golf, and disc golf. Elizabeth is a fourth-grade teacher who loves reading, puzzles, crafting, and baking. We love spending time with family and friends and traveling to new places—especially visiting National Parks! We feel incredibly blessed to have a strong community of family and friends surrounding us who are excited to love and support the child we hope to welcome into our family.

We are so grateful that you are taking the time to learn a little about us. Adoption has always been a special part of both of our families, and we feel incredibly grateful that God has led us to become parents through adoption. It is something that has been on our hearts for a long time.
We have had the privilege of seeing the love and sacrifice involved in adoption firsthand through the stories in our own families. Elizabeth’s brother and our sister-in-law are both adopted, and Grant’s grandmother is a birth mother. These experiences have given us a deep appreciation for the many perspectives within the adoption story. We have nothing but admiration and gratitude for the birth family of our future child. Please know that you are being prayed for by both of us, as well as by our family and friends.

Grant and Elizabeth's Letter

Hi, we are Grant and Elizabeth!

Thank you for choosing adoption and for considering us. The selflessness of your decision is not lost on us and we are so thankful that you have chosen this path of life and love for your child. We would love to tell you a little bit about us!

We were both born and raised in Lake Charles, Louisiana, which is located in the southwest part of the state. We met and started dating in high school and we have been together ever since! We’ve spent the past thirteen years together and have been married for almost eight years now. We currently live in Bullard, Texas with our two very loved and very spoiled pups, Ollie and Ellie. Grant is a home health physical therapist and Elizabeth is a fourth grade reading and writing teacher.

We’ve spent almost half of our lives together at this point and we always have the most fun when we are together! We love spending time together by hiking, going to the movies, having game nights, and just enjoying each other’s company. We also really love to travel and experience new places together, especially National Parks! Grant loves all things sports, whether it’s playing or watching. He especially enjoys playing pickleball, golf, and disc golf. Elizabeth enjoys activities like reading, puzzles, crafts, and baking.

We are very close to our family and we are so thankful for the support that we have in them and in our friends. We often travel to spend weekends or holidays in Louisiana to be with Grant’s family and to the Katy, Texas area to be with Elizabeth’s family. Our families love coming to visit us in East Texas as well. We are slowly trying to convince them all to move to the Tyler area! Both sets of parents are over the moon for another grandchild and we are looking forward to adding a new member to the cousin crew! We have so many supportive friends that live close by and that we know we can call on for anything. We feel deeply grateful to be surrounded by people who support us through both the joyful and challenging moments of life.

Our faith and our relationship with Jesus are central to who we are and what we value most. We truly feel that God has been leading us toward adoption since the very beginning of our relationship because we’ve seen the beauty of it first hand in so many ways in our lives. While our journey to parenthood has not been easy, we can see His hand guiding us through it all, and we are confident that this is the path meant for our family.

It feels surreal to be writing this letter to you because we have been thinking about and praying for you for so long! We are thankful for the opportunity to become parents through adoption and we feel so blessed that God has called us to this. We are so grateful for you taking the time to read this and for your interest in getting to know more about us. We hope that you see the love we have for each other, our family and friends, our future family, and for you and your family. We are praying for you!

With love,
Grant & Elizabeth
