Makani Plunkett

Christian Homes & Family Services welcomed Makani to the team in 2026 as the receptionist and administrative assistant. In her role, she provides vital support to staff members, helping ensure the organization’s mission is carried out with excellence, compassion, and care each day. Her heart for service and dedication to helping others make her a valued part of the Christian Homes’ family.

Makani is currently pursuing a degree in family and child services at Abilene Christian University, with an anticipated graduation in 2027. Following graduation, she hopes to work in foster care, where she can continue serving children and families in meaningful ways. Deeply passionate about the mission of Christian Homes, Makani strives to be the hands and feet of Christ through both her work and personal calling.

Outside of the office, Makani is a proud military wife and devoted mother to two boys. She values faith, family, and service, and Makani brings those same principles into the work she does each day.
