Mark Schinnerer

Mark Schinnerer began working for Christian Homes & Family Services in May 2026 as the Senior Director of Foster Care. Mark graduated from Oklahoma Christian College in 1980 with a degree in business and moved to Abilene, eventually working at ACU as the Chief Accountant in 1985. He and his family left Abilene for Carlsbad, N.M. in 1989, and he worked as a Nursing Home Administrator for Lakeview Christian Home of the Southwest. In 2007, Mark became the CEO of CARC, INC. serving individuals with special needs.

Having family who adopted through Christian Homes, “a Christian home for every child” has a very special meaning to Mark, and he believes his work and support of foster families can contribute significantly in building Christian families. He is married to Linda, and they have three grown children, Stephanie, Jessica and Craig, as well as seven grandchildren.
