Terrence and Kelly’s Letter

Dear birth mother,

We want you to know what a blessing you already are in our lives. You are truly so brave,courageous,and strong. We have been Praying for you and your baby. We pray for God to give you strength, lead you, and give you wisdom during this time. Like many couples, infertility led us to seek adoption. We struggled for three years and were disheartened but little did we know,God was leading us to adoption. We were reminded that God’s ways and plans are not ours.

Terrence has been working for the Massachusetts Department of Transportation as a maintenance worker for 13 years. He loves working with heavy equipment, working with his hands, and working on vehicles. He is loving, caring,nurturing, compassionate, a good problem solver, hard worker, funny, and adventurous. He also enjoys fellowshipping with other fellow men in the church and attends men’s conferences with them. At the conferences he gains wisdom and guidance in the importance of leading our family under God.

Kelly is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant and has worked in the field for 15 years. She has worked with children, individuals with special needs, and individuals with mental health. She went back to school for Medical Billing and Coding and now works at a Chiropractic office. Kelly is creative, caring, nurturing, funny, outgoing, and compassionate.Kelly loves baking, especially creative 3D cakes. She also loves cooking from scratch and wants to be able to pass that down, as this is something she learned how to do from her mother.

We have been married for over 3 years. Our first date, we had an instant connection.Terrence and I believe in putting God first in our marriage and every other aspect of our lives. We respect, love, nurture, encourage, and support each other. Most of our weekends are playing with the dogs, cooking together, being outside or visiting family. We have big family gatherings around the holidays. Christmas is our favorite holiday, as we have many family traditions.

Terrence and I want to promise you that we will love your child unconditionally, protect, encourage, support, raise them in a godly home where they will learn about Jesus, and tell your baby how much they are loved by their birth parents. We look forward to meeting you and will continue to pray for God’s strength, guidance, and wisdom.
