Steven and Tawny’s Letter

Dear Birth Mother,

You have a beautiful heart full of love. We believe that God is writing a love story through you; your child is loved by you and will be loved by the family you choose. We are honored that you are reading this letter to consider us as that family.

We are Steven and Tawny. We met in 2012 and were married in 2014. Immediately after being married, we moved to a new state and started our new married life together. We desire to have children but were diagnosed with unexplained infertility. After years of failed infertility treatments, we realized that adoption is the path we wanted to pursue to grow our family.

Steven is a truck driver in the oilfield, working 5 or 6 days a week. He is home every evening, so we get to spend time together each day. He enjoys bicycle riding, sports, reading, cooking BBQ and firearms. He is a leader and protector who is also very loving and encouraging. He will do whatever he can to help the people he loves.

Tawny is an office manager for a utility company. Her job is very family focused, so has flexiblity with time off and working from home. She enjoys reading, baking, and spending time with friends. She is a kind, loving, considerate, patient nurturer who loves to help the people around her.

We both love to travel, go camping, work in our garden, play games and spend time laughing together. We cannot wait to share those things with a child.

We live in a small rural town and enjoy its quiet and slower pace of living. We live in a brick home on a cul-de-sac that is popular for walks and bike riding. There is a neighborhood park a few blocks away with a walking trail, pond, and a basketball court.

Since our extended families live in Missouri, we have been blessed to find a loving community in our town and especially in our church. They have supported us through the hard years of infertility treatments and are so excited to welcome a child into our family. We are surrounded by friends and family that have adopted and cherish their encouragement.

As parents, we will raise a child in a home full of love, encouragement, security and the love of Jesus. We want them to grow up knowing they are loved not only by us, but also deeply loved by their birth mother.

We want to encourage you, so please know that you are being prayed for as you make the incredibly difficult decision of who you want to be the parents of your baby. We pray that He gives you peace in finding the right couple.
