Marilyn has served with the Christian Homes’ ministry since 1985. As the Contracts & Records Manager, Marilyn is responsible for the organization and maintenance of the 50-plus years of social services records, both hard copy and digital formats, as well as the maintenance of all state related contracts. As the Senior Administrative Assistant to the social services staff, Marilyn oversees the Administrative Assistants while also assisting the Family Services Caseworkers by maintaining active client files and preparing the legal paperwork.
Marilyn came to Abilene from Carmel, New York, where she and her husband lived for eight years and helped establish the Carmel Church of Christ. She has a servant heart and enjoys helping others any way she can. She feels blessed to be part of this life-changing ministry. Marilyn and her husband, Steve, have two grown children, a son-in-law and daughter-in-law, and three (soon to be four) grandchildren.
