A born-and-raised Texan, Elissa joined Christian Homes and Family Services in December of 2017. After graduating from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, Elissa moved to Michigan to work for a non-profit ministry that works with churches all across the U.S. With a degree in journalism, Elissa loves to tell stories of how God has changed lives through writing, videography and social media.
Elissa moved back to Texas in November of 2017 to be closer to her family whom she loves spending time with. Adoption is very important to Elissa because her youngest brother is adopted from Russia and her two cousins were adopted through Christian Homes and Family Services.
In her spare time, Elissa loves to work out, spend time in the outdoors, drink tea and hang out with family and friends!
