Evan and Amy’s Letter

Dear Birth Mother,

We are so grateful for the opportunity to share a little bit of our story with you! This choice of adoption takes an incredible amount of strength, courage, and faith, and we think you are so brave for considering it. We are praying that God fills you with confidence, and gives you complete peace with your decision!

We are Evan and Amy! Both born and raised in Texas, we each attended college at Texas A&M but didn’t actually meet until several years later in Dallas. We got married one year after our first date, in December of 2010, so we will be celebrating our ten-year anniversary this year!

Evan is a business analyst for a pharmaceutical consulting company. He is the most fun and loving dad, and he does an amazing job of prioritizing family time above everything else. He brings tons of laughter to our house and we are thankful that he works from home and gets to be around for all of the little moments during each day. He loves spending time outside working in the garden or on house projects, and always finds ways to get the whole family involved.

Amy is currently a stay-at-home mom, formerly a pediatric nurse and third-grade teacher for many years! She loves creating fun activities and adventures for our son, being involved with the women’s ministry at our church, and connecting with family and friends through play dates at the park or dinners at home. Amy loves taking care of people, so being a mom and building a family has been a dream come true.

After experiencing recurrent miscarriages the first few years of marriage, we felt that God was leading us to grow our family through adoption. After a two year process, we had the joy of adopting our little boy in 2017. Ethan spends most of his days playing with dinosaurs and tractors, and going on adventures outside where he can dig in dirt, splash in puddles, and run around! Becoming parents has been one of the greatest joys of our entire lives. We have seen God’s grace poured out abundantly through answered prayers, and we are so excited to have the chance to add to our family through adoption once again. We pray that our children will always know just how much they are loved, both by us and their birth family, and that they would have a deep confidence in the story that God is writing for their life.

We would feel so blessed to be a part of your story and the story God is writing for your baby. Thank you so much for taking the time to get to know us a little more!

With Love,
Evan + Amy
