Cameron and Caroline

A few of our every day activities include morning snuggles, outdoor walks or play time at the park, a home-cooked dinner with lots of fun conversations, and bedtime stories before bed. We aim to be in the presence of the Father daily. Sometimes that looks like morning scripture reading with our coffee, or waking up early to pray with men and women walking through life with us. On Wednesdays, Caroline attends a weekly bible study with the kids where they study the same scripture together. Sometimes it’s the simple ways of being with the Father like singing praise and worship in the car as we run errands, or praying with our kids around the dinner table. Our goal is to be a family that is tight-knit, supportive in the victories and trials of life, and to ultimately create a bond and relationship with our kids to where they know they are loved and always have a listening ear. We want to be the home that every childhood friend gravitates to and feels welcomed in, and we know that we can’t make this type of environment without the Lord being the glue of our family. It’s important to us that our kids feel like they can tell us anything, and that they know we can give them solid and loving guidance. Cameron works in Real Estate and loves his job and the flexibility that it provides, because another big part of our lives is traveling! We’ve got family in the hill country of Texas, and we visit them monthly for various celebrations and activities. Some of our favorite things to do down there is hunting, fishing, and family cookouts. We also travel to Colorado a few times a year to visit our other extended family. Our time in the mountains are filled with hiking, skiing, and family game nights in the cabin. We also have family across the pond in London, UK doing mission work, and we love visiting them as well. One of our most looked forward to trip of the year is our beach trip to Florida. We love time in the sun, sand, and salty water and so do our kids. We want our kids to experience the world and different cultures through traveling experiences (both big and small). We are eager to add another son or daughter into our family, and look forward to all of the memories we will make as a family of 5. We pray for this child as well as the birth momma daily.
