Aaron and Brooke’s Letter

Dear Birth Mother,

The love you have for your baby is apparent and something we would never doubt. From choosing to love and to place your baby for adoption, we know you are caring and strong. Though we have not met, we admire and respect your choice deeply. They say these adoption matches happen organically, and we are confident and encouraged that will be the case. We are looking forward to what an open adoption will look like; we know that there is ample room in our hearts and that your baby will be greatly enriched by spending time with you. We also understand if you choose not to have an open adoption.

We are Brooke and Aaron. We both come from homes that put a lot of value on family, and these families cannot wait for us to grow our little family. We are thrilled to raise and nurture a baby, to show the baby a life with extended family and friends, and to teach the baby about how much God loves her/him. We know that the plans of the Lord for the baby are to give her/him a hope and a future, and we are here to love, provide a joy-filled and secure home, while instilling truths in the baby’s heart to foster that growth.

Once you meet us, you will see that we are quite a complementary mix. Aaron is as secure and steady as they come, providing the safe, welcoming and willing to listen approach to life; though his figure appears imposing, he is sought out and confided in by all. He is thoughtful, kind, processes internally, and will show our children what it means to be a man of quiet confidence, solid faith, and strong determination.

Brooke is caring, quick-witted, friendly and adventurous; she loves meeting strangers, thrives in making others feel welcome and loves deep conversation. She is driven, always concerned and protective of animals, likes to make the home beautiful and comforting, is an external processor, and lends to being categorized as a social butterfly; she will show our children how to be confident with people and in the Lord. She will create strong bonds between our children and our families and future siblings. As opposites attract, we know that the way in which we are different will cover and benefit the other in parenting.

Thank you for considering us to parent this precious baby. What we want to communicate most of all is that your baby will be loved so, so very much. Our bond with one another is strong, and we will provide a home where the child will see two parents who love each other. We will also train the baby to be kind, gentle, and bold in the Lord. If you feel led to us, please know that our hearts toward you are full of love and compassion. Cannot wait to meet you, I am sure we will be nervous too.

Sincerely yours,
Aaron and Brooke
