A Letter from Jeremy and Hannah
Dear Birth Mother,
We don’t yet know you, but we know you love your baby very much. It is clear you want the absolute best for your baby. Your strength and courage have brought you to this point, and we pray God will be especially close to you as you make this very difficult decision. We know God’s love will surround you and He is guiding you even at this very moment.
We are Hannah and Jeremy. From the time we started dating, we have felt adoption was part of God’s plan for our lives. We think adoption has a special place in God’s heart and can’t think of a better way to build our family. We have two beautiful girls, ages 5 and 3, but feel strongly our family is not complete yet! We pray together every night that God will bring just the right baby into our family.
We have been married for over 10 years. We met and fell in love in college and got married when we were still very young. We spent many fun years together as a young couple doing ministry in our church and working our way through graduate school. We love spending time together as a couple and with our two girls. Family is our first priority. We want to create a safe home where our children feel loved and secure. Our greatest desire is that they would grow up to love and serve God with all of their hearts.
We live in a four-bedroom home in a suburban community on the West Coast—close to the beach and with plenty of flowers and sunshine! Our city has been rated America’s safest city and our local schools are among the best schools in the country. Right behind our backyard is the neighborhood playground and swimming pool. We spend much of our time there, swimming, riding bikes, and playing on the swings and in the sand. Our community is very diverse, with kids from virtually every nationality and race.
Our home is a warm and active place, full of fun and learning. Our oldest daughter, Clara, is a caring and talkative child who loves to learn about the world and the Bible. Ruthie is spunky and loves to play outside and snuggle with her parents. They are excited about being big sisters! As a family we like to do crafts, read books together, hike, take bike trips, and go to the beach. We also enjoy traveling throughout America and in Europe.
Jeremy is a college professor who teaches at a large public university less than a mile from our house. He often works from home and eats all the three meals together with the family. He loves baseball, bicycling along the ocean and the mountains, and playing the bass guitar in chruch.
Hannah is a stay-at-home Mom who teaches piano part time from home. She loves to knit, sew, cook, and create a cozy environment at home. She enjoys spending time with neighbors and friends and loves having people over for meals, coffee, or just to chat. She is a gifted classical musician with a Master’s degree in piano.
We want you to know we are committed to loving you and your baby. We are deeply honored and humbled by the opportunity to include both of you in our lives.
